Hey! My name is Allison and yep- you got it- I’m not your basic broad. If you couldn’t tell from my use of the word broad, I was born and raised in a small blue collar town in Massachusetts by a wild and crazy, half Italian half Irish, too big to fail kinda family.

Eightish years ago (!), I decided to go to college wicked far away in Washington DC to have some space to figure out who I was as a person, what I loved, and what I wanted to do in life. While my typical college dream didn’t come true right away, over time, I understood myself a lot better. By both embracing my roots and living in such a go getter city like DC that motivated me to be the best version of myself, I explored my true interests and found what makes me excited to get out of bed everyday.

I discovered how much I enjoyed talking to people, writing, and learning about the importance of good food. I dived head first into the blog world (you may know me by my previous alias, the wicked healthy washingtonian). My blog led me to finding a full-time, professional place for myself at Whole Foods Market. Working for WFM opened my eyes to working in the retail, grocery world. When Eataly decided to come to Boston, I snagged a spot on their team and that’s where you’ll find me today.

I’m wildly passionate about people and their stories, everything to do with food and nutrition, and the things that make us feel all the feels– music, eating, books, poetry, art, and most importantly, the Boston Red Sox.

I’m currently living and working in Massachusetts.

Shout out to me with any questions!
